In cooperation with the Music Academy at the University of
Ljubljana a meeting with Russian composer Rodion Shchedrin will be organised.
A visit by such an eminent and famous composer, and especially meeting him,
may be a turning point for a young artist. Many unanswered questions, doubts,
unexpressed thoughts or interesting ideas may be resolved in a conversation
with a living composer! Can you imagine how many questions young artists
would like to ask Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky or Shostakovich? Unfortunately,
this is not possible anymore but they have a unique opportunity to meet
Rodion Shchedrin – a great composer of the 20th century and a live
connection with numerous great personalities from recent past. This meeting
will be open to all students of the Music Academy and general public.
